Star of NBC's Emmy and Golden Globe Award-winning "30 Rock," Tracy Morgan will appear at the Sony Centre For The Performing Arts as part of the Canadian International Comedy Fest, March 23, 2012.
In 2009 Morgan received his first Emmy Nomination in the Supporting Actor category for his performance as Tracy Jordan, the unpredictable star of the fictitious show, "TGS with Tracy Jordan." He has also been nominated for a Supporting Actor NAACP Image Award, and the "30 Rock" cast has won the Screen Actors Guild Award for "Outstanding Performance by Ensemble."  
As a stand-up comic who has headlined across the country, Morgan was first introduced to television audiences through his role as Hustleman on the hit comedy series "Martin." He then spent seven seasons with  "Saturday Night Live" where he created such memorable characters as Astronaut Jones and Brian Fellows. Morgan has also released his first book, a compilation of anecdotes and stories entitled I Am The New Black; has headlined the famed New York Comedy Festival alongside such acclaimed comedians as Bill Maher, Andy Samberg, and Patton Oswalt; and most recently, shot his first HBO Special, "Black & Blue" which aired in the fall.
