Dear all

This month of February has been very challenging for the Brazil Canada Chamber of Commerce. On Feb.14th we held a successful event in Calgary. With around 70 attendees the event had the Canadian Consul-General in São Paulo as the key note speaker, addressing the business opportunities by sector currently happening in Brazil . She was followed by  Adam Waterous  from Scotiabank that talked about the business with Brazil in the Oil&Gas sector and finally, Tim Olsen, from the Government of Alberta, presented the opportunkities in Alberta and how the Government is acting too facilitate.

The event was possible to be held thanks to  Bennett Jones , which offered their offices and sponsored the catering and the DFAIT , which also, sponsored the event.

Next week we are going to hold in Vancouver, at the Rosewood Hotel Georgia, a similar event, sponsored again by the DFAIT, Lawson & Laundell, Weatherhaven and Brazil Resources Inc. To date the event is sold out demonstrating the interest that this kind of event is raising within the Vancouver community.
After those two events we are immediately working to establish BCCC's Chapters in Calgary and Vancouver.

Sincerely,
